How to star programmes

This functionality allows users to star their favoured, most important, or most accessed programmes without affecting other users' views. The implementation of the starred list means individuals no longer need to take time scrolling a long list or searching because they can access preferred programmes quicker.

To star a programme, simply click the star icon. This will colour the star yellow and display the programme in the starred list, located at the top of your display. If you no longer want to star a programme, you can click the star icon again to remove the yellow colour and return the programme to the all programmes list.

Even hidden programmes can be starred and unstarred, but they will only be displayed if you select the ‘Show hidden programmes’ checkbox. When you search for programmes, results will be displayed as one list, and you can take all the usual programme actions, including starring and unstarring.

Starring or unstarring a programme is available to all roles other than student and is a personal action that only affects your own view. It does not mean the programme will appear or be removed from other users' displays.
